  • Thorough grounding in modern theory of psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy
  • Treatment of children of all ages and work with their parents in the context of a consideration of the family as a whole
  • Treatment of children by way of helping their parents
  • Evaluation of children and families leading to diagnosis and choice of therapeutic intervention
  • Application of theory and methods to the broader field of mental health through didactic seminars and field work in child care centers and other community facilities for children
  • Principles and methodology of psychodynamic research.
